Women, once frightened away from hormone replacement may want to re-visit that idea

A report in the New York Times says initial concerns over hormone replacement were misplaced and that women approaching menopause and experiencing hot flashes and other symptoms would benefit from estrogen supplementation.  [New York Times, Aug 30, 2016] The drug industry drummed up the fear over estrogen replacement when it realized they could sell more drugs for bone loss, mental depression, cardiovascular disease, etc.
