Researchers report a healthy low-calorie diet during chemotherapy shrinks tumors twice as much as drugs alone. The evidence for an anti-cancer diet has been growing. A search at the National Library of Medicine for “ketogenic (high-fat/low sugar-carbohydrate) diet and cancer finds 128 reports. [Nat’l Library Medicine PUBMED] Such a low calorie diet is said to weaken tumor cells and heighten response of cancer-killing T cells. Even fasting appears to be effective.
