More trouble with Tylenol

5% of pregnant moms who used acetaminophen (Tylenol) during pregnancy are reported to have hyperactive children. [Daily Mail UK Aug 15, 2016]  About half of the mothers in the survey took acetaminophen during pregnancy.  There are ~4,000,000 births in the U.S. annually.  If this study applies to the U.S., maybe 100,000 excess cases of hyperactivity would result.  U.S. doctors treat the problem like it is a drug deficiency.    Acetaminophen use during pregnancy is also associated with lower IQ scores in children by the age of five.
