Husband of Lung Cancer Patient Pleads For Drug Advertisement To Be Pulled

The husband of a woman who died of lung cancer wants advertisements for a drug that boosts the immune system to be pulled.  The drug, Opdivo, is said to increase survival by 3 months for 1 in 5 patients with lung cancer.  The glowing advertisements for the drug didn’t match its actual performance.  [New York Times, Aug 9, 2016]
