Do Senior Adults Want To Live To 100?

32.9% say they do.  At least that is the number in Finland.  [Age & Ageing 2016]

So how do doctors start up end-of-life-discussions with this group of seniors?  The had-better-die-on-time health planners are going to have difficulty with at least a portion of retirees.  How does religious faith enter into the end-of-life picture?  One study showed physicians are more willing to accommodate requests for life-sustaining treatment when the patient’s religious faith does not permit discontinuation of life-sustaining treatment, but are not as wiling when the patient or family expects divine healing.
